Bleeding spot on review. I enjoyed the movie but felt it was much more modern. The truth is, that what John Carpenter and Rob Bottin created in ’82, was nail biting, original and grotesque with characters you got to know. This doesn’t translate to sequels. The industry needs to focus on original work and, with that, the attributes of an original.
