Gritty, shocking, you kinda know what is going to happen and this allows you a chance to take in the beautiful cinematography. The landscape itself is an important member of the cast and enhances the sense of the odds stacked against the backpackers. Bluff, genial Mick Taylor is terrifying and once the realisation is make about what he truly is with found footage, it takes the terror up to a whole new level. Explicit ? Yes . Violent? Oh yes, brilliant? Completely.
