German production company Constantin Film announced that it will produce a television show spinoff of its live-action Resident Evil films. The series will begin after the next feature film.
Constantin produced its first zombie apocalypse movie based on CAPCOM’s survival horror game series in 2002 with actress Milla Jovovich as protagonist Alice. Franchise producer Paul W.S. Anderson stated in June that he is penning the first draft to the sixth and final film in the series and that it is tentatively titled Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
